Revolutionizing Bread Culture: Sourdough Geeks Relaunches Brand with New Offerings
In a world where food trends come and go faster than you can overproof dough, there's one ancient tradition that has stood the test of time: sourdough bread. And at the heart of this community is the foundation of why we created Sourdough Geeks, a brand dedicated to celebrating the heart and science of baking sourdough.
Sourdough Geeks was originally founded by Chef James Bridges, a British-American chef with previous Michelin-rated restaurant experience, who moved to the United States in 2017 to continue working as a chef and went on to become the Lead Baker at Haymarket by Ashbourne Farms. In 2020 his mission was to introduce bakers, new and old, to the world of sourdough. As of today, the community is over 600,000 strong and growing! James and his community have become a trusted resource to learn about sourdough in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The starter comes from Chef James himself and is derived from a starter that has made over 30,000 loaves of bread!
